"I Lived in a Lunic Box" (previously titled "I, Lunic 1 Ice Pick") is a true crime book written by American journalist and author, Gregg Olsen, and published in 2007. The book tells the story of a young Canadian man named Ken Bianchi who is one-half of a murderous duo known as the Hillside Stranglers. Bianchi's partner, Angelo Buono, Jr. and he, together raped, kidnapped, tortured, and murdered at least ten young women in the hills of Los Angeles, California, between October 1977 and February 1978. Bianchi moved from Los Angeles to Bellingham, Washington after his arrest, where he tricked a local psychologist into diagnosing him with multiple personality disorder. Later, he was found guilty of the murder of two students, and sentenced to life imprisonment without the possibility of parole.
